The commitment to protect the territory and population affected by the construction of the Trento railway bypass continues.
Thanks to the Environmental Monitoring Plan (PMA) prepared by the companies of the FS Group's Infrastructure Pole, Rete Ferroviaria Italiana and Italferr, the impacts of the realisation of the work are monitored through analyses and investigations, in order to implement timely corrective actions if necessary.
In the PMA, refined thanks to the contribution of the Provincial Agency for the Protection of the Environment, the environmental components to be monitored, the number and frequency of measurements to be performed, and the methodologies to be applied are defined. The PMA is divided into three phases (ante operam, during construction and post operam) with the objective of monitoring the entire construction cycle of the ring road, from construction to the operational phase.
