The Vice-President of the Autonomous Province of Trento and Councillor for Cooperation, Mario Tonina, yesterday attended the opening of the new point of sale in Celentino di Peio, which will also serve Strombiano and is the sixteenth of the Famiglia Cooperativa Vallate Solandre.
"A point of reference for the community, a service," Tonina emphasised, "that contributes to avoiding the marginalisation of the territories, thanks to the support of the Province but also to the commitment of a reality like cooperation, which expresses attention to people and profound values. A sign of hope and the future just a few days before Christmas'.
Adjacent to the sales outlet there is also a space belonging to the municipality given in use to the Alpini but also used by the community. The structure that houses the sales point also belongs to the municipal administration.
The ceremony was also attended by the mayor of the municipality of Peio, Alberto Pretti, who emphasised that having re-established this service is fundamental for the people of Peio, also from the point of view of socialisation, and he thanked the Vallate Solandre Cooperative for accepting the invitation to re-open the Celentino sales outlet, and also thanked the Sossi family, who had managed the previous sales outlet, closed in recent months, for the past 20 years. The president of the Cooperativa Vallate Solandre, Marina Mattarei, also spoke. "This project," Mattarei said, "is the result of a community pact, in which institutions, the Cooperative Family and members have testified to the value of the cooperative instrument in providing answers to needs. Dao's operations manager Nicola Webber was also present. Don Renato Pellegrini blessed the point of sale.
