The REDERA project aims to promote a lifelong learning system that improves access to and effectiveness of vocational education and training (VET) in sparsely populated rural areas with the objective of enhancing social, economic and environmental inclusion and sustainability and helping to maintain a stable population in these areas.
Goals
The REDERA project aims to promote a learning system that encourages access to vocational training by individuals living and working in rural areas in order to strengthen their inclusion and social security and, at the same time, safeguard economic and environmental sustainability and the promotion of training systems in these areas.
In particular, the project develops:
1) intervention tools designed to foster the increase of capacities to promote an offer of training services capable of developing competences and skills to enable the development of life and work projects of the population of rural areas;
2) "maps" of the skills needed for the development of these areas, through the promotion of the human capital of the residents in these areas.
