Cookies Policy
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that websites visited send to the user's device, where they are stored to collect information through the browser, only to be re-transmitted to the same sites on the next visit. They are essentially used to measure and improve the quality of sites by analysing visitor behaviour.
The 'cookie law' (Directive 2009/136/EC) amended Article 122 of the Personal Data Protection Code (Legislative Decree 196/2003): the article requires consent to be obtained from visitors in order to store or collect any information on the device connected to the web. Otherwise, the previous regime allowed the storage and collection of this information without prior consent. The Garante for the protection of personal data has identified the simplified modalities for the information and acquisition of consent for the use of cookies in the provision dated 8 May 2014 - web doc. no. 3118884 (published in the Official Gazette no. 126 of 3 June 2014) to which these legal notes conform for the purposes of greater transparency towards the end user. On 10 June 2021, the Garante also published Guidelines on cookies and other tracking tools (published in the Official Gazette no. 163 of 9 July 2021).
Policy of the Autonomous Province of Trento on cookies
The cookies active on the website of the Autonomous Province of Trento (hereinafter the "Site") do not store any personal data of users, but only use data relating to the navigation of visitors, in an anonymous form, for the sole purpose of analysing and improving the navigation and usability of the information displayed on the Site.
By using the Site, the visitor accepts this cookie policy. The Autonomous Province of Trento may make changes to this policy and it is the user's responsibility to periodically check for updates.
This site uses technical cookies that are essential to the correct functioning of the web pages, analysis and measurement cookies and third party cookies. By selecting "Accept all cookies" in the appropriate banner when accessing the Site you consent to the use of all cookies. The Site of the Autonomous Province of Trento uses the following cookies (which do not carry out any form of user profiling):
1. Technical cookies
Technical cookies are necessary for the correct functioning of the Site. They allow pages to be navigated and user sessions to be memorised (to keep them active while browsing). Without these cookies, the services and functionalities for which users access the Site could not be provided.

Duration: 365 days. Manages the display of the cookie message. This type of cookie is used to keep track of the user's consent and possibly not re-propose the cookie banner on future pages or possibly on the user's second visit
- eZSESSID
Duration: session. Cookie for the operation of the EzPublish CMS on which the site is based
- is_logged_in
Duration: session. Cookie for the operation of the EzPublish CMS on which the site is based
- ezxuserform_token
Duration: 24 hours. Protects user login
The use of these cookies is not instrumental in the collection of personal data identifying the user, but is limited to the transmission of session data in the form of numbers generated automatically by the server. Session cookies are not stored persistently on the user's device.
2. Analysis and measurement cookies (analytics)
Analytics and measurement cookies are used to collect information on the number of users and how they navigate the Site, in order to be able to process aggregate statistics on the web service and its use. The data is collected anonymously and does not allow user identification or navigation tracking.

3. Third party cookies
Third party cookies are used to analyse your browsing characteristics, to provide you with content viewing or sharing services and to create profiles based on your behaviour on the Site. This Site incorporates media content through third party content providers (such as YouTube or Facebook) using oEmbed specifications or integration widgets. Each content provider may issue technical, analytical and profiling cookies according to their own settings. If this setting is disabled, multimedia content will not be automatically embedded in the Site and instead a link will be displayed so that it can be viewed directly at the source.
3.1 Openstreetmap cookies:
- _osm_totp_token
Duration: one day. Enables the operation of OpenStreetMap to display maps.
3.2 Social networks cookies
In the course of browsing this Site, the user may also receive cookies on their device that are sent to interact directly with social platforms. The Site incorporates buttons and widgets from Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, WhatsApp and LinkedIn. The Autonomous Province of Trento does not have access to the data, which are thus collected and processed in full autonomy by the social networks.
