Enhancing Governance Mechanisms in the Alpine Macro Strategy EUSALP

General information

The AlpGov2 project aims to improve the governance structures and mechanisms of the Alpine Macro-regional Strategy EUSALP. It is based on the general governance rules established by the general assembly and technically by the executive body and serves as the main instrument to make EUSALP effective.

The project will consist of the following main activities

- competence development of the Action Groups and creation of an implementation support tool "Eusalp learning environment",
- strategic planning of Action Group activities with the definition of annual plans and of sectoral and transversal strategic initiatives to be promoted also within the Presidencies' programmes;
- identification of priority policy areas and transfer to policy makers,
- communication actions with road shows, social media, web-based communication development.
The Autonomous Province of Trento is involved in all the Eusalp working groups and will participate in all the project activities. In particular, it will be in charge of managing the work of Action Group 3 "Improving workforce, education and training adequacy in strategic sectors".

Goals

The project contributes to managing the governance mechanisms of the various action groups by supporting them in implementing their action plans through projects, specific actions, mapping and matching financial instruments, involving stakeholders and managing information and knowledge flows.
