Cross-border cooperation networks
Cross-border cooperation networks in the Autonomous Province of Trento represent a significant opportunity to promote development, innovation and cultural integration. Through joint projects and initiatives, the Province manages to build strategic relations with neighbouring territories, facing challenges together and enhancing local potential.
Below are the bodies within the European network with which the Autonomous Province of Trento collaborates:
Arge Alp
The Working Community of Alpine Regions ARGE ALP was founded on 12 October 1972 in Mösern, Tyrol, with the aim of contributing to solving problems common to several Alpine regions in a good neighbourly and mutually cooperative relationship. It currently consists of the following members Länder Vorarlberg, Tyrol and Salzburg (Austria); Free State of Bavaria (Germany); Autonomous Province of Trento, Autonomous Province of Bolzano and Lombardy Region (Italy); Cantons Grisons, St. Gallen and Ticino (Switzerland).
Arge Alp
Arge Alp aims, through cross-border cooperation, to address common problems and concerns, particularly in the ecological, cultural, social and economic fields, as well as to promote mutual understanding of the peoples of the Alpine region and to strengthen the sense of common responsibility for the Alpine living space.
Trentino Presidency of Arge Alp from 25 October 2024 to 24 October 2025
From 25 October 2024 to 24 October 2025, the Autonomous Province of Trento holds the chairmanship of ARGE ALP, the Working Community of the Alpine Regions.

Euregio
Two States, three territories, one Euregio: located in the heart of Europe, our Euregio unites the three territories of Tyrol, South Tyrol and Trentino, which share a common history but also many other geographical, economic and cultural aspects. The aim is to establish strong ties, to live united in diversity, to put cohesion above all by overcoming national borders.

The Euregio Tyrol-South Tyrol-Trentino is a joint cross-border cooperation project consisting of the two autonomous provinces of Trento and Bolzano and the Austrian federal state of Tyrol.
