General information
The innovative spirit of the project follows 5 main actions:
1) highlighting existing local strengths (Healthcare Excellence Spots);
2) to create strategic connections between partners (CE Digital Care Networks);
3) demonstrate the potential/impact that such cooperation can have in policy and technology development (Pilot & Demo Cases);
4) return patterns of innovation, investments and long-term initiatives in the field of health systems (Transnational Strategy & Roadmap)
5) to enhance the centrality of the patient as the subject who will use resources and services
In harmony with the eHealth initiatives supported by the Ministry of Health, the role of the Autonomous Province of Trento will be to bring its own local results (electronic health record, dematerialised health prescription, citizen's medical record-TreC and TrentinoSalute 4.0) as virtuous examples of both the sharing of skills, tools and resources (PAT, APSS and FBK) and a vision of socio-health integration inspired by assistance, care and health promotion.
Goals
Part of the Central Europe 2014-2020 territorial cooperation programme, the project aims to create transnational alliances between strategic actors dealing with innovation in health services. Strengthening the innovative capacity of the central region itself must start with a shared knowledge of the excellence solutions adopted by each partner. An exchange on this scale can therefore offer a range of tools, methodologies, initiatives and good practices from which to draw in order to define an effective combination of policy, research and development in the field of digital health.
