Inclusion in the time of plurality

The project envisages the following activities

-accompanying and monitoring the scholastic and social progress of adolescents of foreign origin, an age group in which there are widespread and worrying situations of vulnerability;

-strengthening and qualification of the training offer concerning the teaching of the Italian language, with a specific focus on the language for the study of school subjects;

-more active involvement of migrant families in school life, enhancing the schools' capacity for reception and communication and the potential inherent in the families themselves;

-countering discrimination in school and out-of-school environments, through participatory methodologies involving the active involvement of both Italian and foreign students.

The objectives are:

- To promote the school and social inclusion of both recent and second-generation foreign minors and to counter the phenomenon of school drop-out with targeted actions.

- To get to know the "inner world" (opinions, motivations, fears, aspirations, emotions) of adolescents of foreign origin.

- Developing the capacity for intercultural relations and dialogue, also with a view to preventing relational and identity issues
