General information
The project deals with the social/medical issue of active and healthy ageing and wants to develop a transnational and multilevel model of governance of the sector in the Alpine Space. The model will particularly take into account the major problems in mountainous areas which already face typical problems such as depopulation and lack of services.
The project will make it possible to identify areas of specialisation for innovative interventions.
To achieve this objective ASTAHG plans to
- build a permanent transnational table for the governance of this topic involving all S4 (quadruple-helix) actors and territorial authorities,
- map policies promoted by Alpine Space regions in support of active and healthy ageing in different social and environmental contexts by adopting effectiveness indicators for the evaluation of innovation
- promote synergies between stakeholders within a cooperation framework to foster the creation of projects in and between regions for active and healthy ageing.
The results obtained through cooperation with the Alpine Macro-regional Strategy EUSALP can be effectively implemented on a transnational level.
Goals
The main objective of the project is to address the problem of an ageing population by implementing strategies for active and healthy ageing through innovative and specific govenance models for peripheral and rural areas in the Alpine Space.
