    Hillside meadows at the foot of Monte Finonchio descending towards Vallagarina.
    The site is home to some of the best-preserved orchid meadows in Trentino, which are significant in terms of vegetation. The thermophilous groves are also home to important species.
    It is of considerable interest as a transit area for birds during migration and was known in the past for the aucupium activity, carried out by means of the laying of prodine and tracts. Representative site of habitats suitable for thermophilous species.

    A porphyry rocky spur between the Val dei Mocheni and the Piné Plateau (eastern Trentino) with Scots pine, beech and some nuclei of oak forests; in the forest clearings there are peat bogs and marshes, with sedges and wet meadows.

    The site covers the highest part of the characteristic limestone relief in the centre of the vast valley floor between Arco and Lake Garda.
    It is characterised by holm oak woodland, patches of dry meadows (some of which are rocky), and part of the olive grove that covers the western side of the hill.

    Eastern slope of Monte Brento (Bassa Valle del Sarca), of a calcareous nature, formed by imposing almost vertical rock faces and the detachment surface (or lasta) of a large landslide; the vegetation consists of chasmophytes and other pioneer species, established in the cracks of the rock.

    A small porphyritic plateau, located on the elevations of the Monte Calisio plateau, which in the summit part occupies peat bogs, swamps and small lakes.
    The peat bogs are all transitional, but in some of them there are also mounds of sphagnum and in others also pubescent birch and Scots pine (wooded bogs). There are Scots pine and oak forests in the areas between the peat bogs.

    The site covers the northernmost section of the Monte Baldo limestone chain (Monte Altissimo).
    The lower part of Monte Altissimo is covered by extensive beech forests interspersed with large expanses of pingui pastures (spruce and silver fir are widespread on the northern slope). Higher up, there are alpine meadows, vast expanses of subalpine bushes (alders and mugoides) and rocky environments. In the area to the east, there is a characteristic limestone relief, located in the high mountain-subalpine belt, with the last patches of beech woodland giving way to subalpine bushes and, above all, pingy pastures, interspersed with rocky environments.

    The nature reserve, with its peculiar morphology, occupies the northernmost portion of the Monte Calisio, or Argentario, plateau, characterised by small reliefs interspersed with wide basins. This gentle, undulating morphology owes its origin to glacial exaction.

    The Reserve is part of the wider Monte Barco - Le Grave Special Area of Conservation.

    The site consists of the eastern slope of the precipitous central ridge of Monte Baldo. It is affected at the bottom by beech woodland, which at the top fades into mugo thicket and then into alpine meadows in a ridge environment, all interspersed with limited but representative rocky environments.
