On Tuesday 11 March at 9 a.m., the Invito all'Ascolto (Invitation to Listening) cycle will resume at the Trento Philharmonic Society in Via Verdi, a project that blends live performances with theoretical insights, offering an opportunity for guided and informed listening. Organised in collaboration with the History of Music course of the Franco Demarchi Foundation's University of the Third Age and Time Available and held by maestro Alessandro Arnoldo, the programme continues with the aim of enhancing the classical repertoire through direct confrontation with performers and instruments.
The opening of the cycle will be entrusted to the duo composed of Aurora Salvetti on flute and Angela Modena on guitar, with a repertoire that runs through classicism and romanticism to the contemporary tango of Astor Piazzolla. The programme includes Rossini's Gazza Ladra Overture, Molino's Notturno op. 37, Castelnuovo-Tedesco's Sonatina op. 205, as well as pieces by Villa-Lobos and Piazzolla.
