From 14 to 16 March, the Acinque Ice Arena in Varese will host the first of nine stages of one of the most eagerly awaited and prestigious events on the Alpine sports scene: the Arge Alp Games 2025, an event that celebrates cross-border cooperation between the ten regions of the Working Community, united by the desire to promote sport, sustainability and Alpine culture.
The Arge Alp Games bring together athletes from different nations to compete in typical Alpine sports disciplines. Sport, in fact, is a powerful tool for strengthening ties between territories and populations.
Figure skating athletes will give life to performances that combine elegance, technique and passion. This year, about 200 young athletes from the Arge Alp territories will compete for the occasion, including about twenty representing Trentino in the various youth categories, selected by the local committee of the Italian Ice Sports Federation: Juniores Under 19, Giovani Under 16, Under 14 and Under 12, from the clubs Circolo Pattinatori Artistici Trento, Pinzolo, Fiemme On Ice, Rendena, Val di Fassa and Artistico Fiemme.
The event will open tomorrow, Friday 14 March, with a parade of athletes and flags and will close on Sunday 16 March with the award ceremony for the athletes of the various categories and the winning representative team.
