    Local reserve

    Hygrophilous woodland with poplars, willows and alders along the River Chiese at the tributary points of the Lora and Palvico streams, municipality of Storo.

    The local reserve is adjacent to the Palvico-Lora A local reserve and the Bassa Valle del Chiese Special Area of Conservation. The local reserve is part of the protected areas that make up the Valle del Chiese Network of Reserves.

    Vast marsh area north of Lago della Serraia (Altopiano di Piné).
    The vegetation consists of wet meadows of mega-grasses, once mowed. A band of magnocariceti has developed along the lake shores, which are progressively invaded by the water reed.

    Situated on the Pinè plateau, it includes the extensive strip of reeds bordering the northern shore of Lake Serraia, a small part of the lake, as well as the marshy basin at the head of the lake and its hinterland.

    Along the left side of the valley of the Meledrio Torrent, characterised by the presence of various terraces of glacial origin, numerous small streams flow, which, where the slope is less pronounced, have given rise to the various peat bogs that characterise the biotope.
    The landscape is dominated by a forest of spruce (Picea excelsa) and larch (Larix decidua).

    The biotope is included in the Adamello Brenta Nature Park.

    The biotope consists of a complex of 9 interconnected wetlands, set in a sparse larch forest on the edge of the tree line.

    The reserve is part of the wider Monte Rema' - Clevet Special Area of Conservation and is one of the protected areas that make up the Valle del Chiese Network of Reserves.

    The peat bogs that characterise the biotope can be divided into two groups according to floristic types.
    The larger ones (4-5 hectares of surface area) are characterised by the predominance of vegetation peculiar to low peat bogs, with Cariceto (Carex spp.) and Trichoporum caespitosum (Trichoporum caespitosum), while the smaller ones (5000-9000 m2) are occupied by vegetation more typical of high peat bogs, with abundant mounds of sphagnum (Sphagnum spp.), and with the typical species that are able to colonise them.

    The biotope is included in the Adamello Brenta Natural Park territory.

    Stuata in Valsugana, occupies the easternmost portion of the Rio Chiavona river cone, in the area where this stream, which descends from the Lagorai mountains, flows into the Brenta Vecchia.
    This is an extensive hygrophilous forest at the bottom of the valley, with rare wetland fauna.

    The Reserve is also a Special Area of Conservation and is one of the protected areas that make up the Brenta River Reserve Network.

    Conoid on the orographic left of the Valsugana, occupied by riparian white alder forests on the sloping part of the conoid and by marshy black alder forests on the lower edge of the conoid. In the glades of the alder swamps, there are extensive wet meadows of mega- and marsh grasslands (magnocariceti).

    A peat bog with a mixed character on the mountain ridges of the upper Non Valley, partly saddle and partly slope, with the vegetation of the phontic, transitional and raised bogs (very extensive and well-preserved sphagnum bogs). On the outer edge, a strip of dwarf pine forest has developed, followed by a narrow strip of spruce, also on peat (wooded peat bog).

    High altitude peat bog of great naturalistic interest, surrounded by needle-leaved woodland in the upper Non Valley. It is a wetland area that is still relatively intact, characterised by the presence of three types of peat bogs: the low peat bog, the intermediate (or transitional) peat bog and the high peat bog.

    The Reserve is also a Special Area of Conservation. It is located near the local reserves Palù Tremole A-B-C-D and Gran Palù A-B.
