Fifteen operators of the Trentino Civil Defence intervened during the night in Emilia Romagna, in response to the red hydraulic alert issued by the Region. The action, aimed at a preventive intervention, involved three specialised water rescue teams, made up of the Trento Permanent Fire Brigade with the speleo-alpine-fluvial and diving units and the Avio, Cavedine and Lavarone Volunteer Fire Brigade Corps. The mobile column, which stopped in Bologna, is ready to intervene in the area of Celle, in the municipality of Faenza (Ravenna), as indicated by the Emilia Romagna Region. The teams will therefore be deployed in the areas most at risk, along the Lamone river, to monitor the situation and ensure rapid intervention in the event of an emergency.
The coordination of the interventions by the Italian regions in Emilia Romagna is entrusted to the General Management of the Autonomous Province of Trento, which has been working since yesterday afternoon to meet the needs indicated by the local authorities to deal with the emergency. Also under the spotlight is the flooding that is affecting Tuscany.
