A mountain area with unique potential, the centuries-old tradition of animal husbandry and an ambitious project for the future. These were the topics at the centre of the meeting that saw the provincial councillor for agriculture Giulia Zanotelli - accompanied by councillor Antonella Brunet and the general manager of Umst Agricoltura Andrea Merz - hold a dialogue with the community of Primiero breeders, in the presence of the president of the provincial federation Giacomo Broch and the president of the Primiero dairy Cesare Scalet. The meeting, which took place yesterday at Palazzo Scopoli, involved local administrators, the top management of the dairy, trade associations and numerous breeders from the area, including many young people. The meeting was an opportunity to present the dairy's expansion project. Councillor Zanotelli emphasised the centrality of the dairy chain for the area and recalled the important path undertaken in this legislature with the Animal Husbandry Table, which includes category representatives and breeders, giving a direct voice to the sector's operators. The table also avails itself of the collaboration with Trentino Marketing, fundamental for integrating the world of livestock farming and dairy production with the tourism sector, in a partnership that enhances the entire territory. In support of this vision, Councillor Brunet pointed out how the new dairy could become a real 'destination' for those visiting the area.
