Description
A peat bog environment in a Scots pine forest setting that completely isolates it from the surrounding areas, interesting is the large expanse of wetland and marsh grasslands. This is a vitally important biotope for the reproduction of many species of amphibians and reptiles. Presence of Annex II invertebrates indicating good naturalness of the running waters.
Habitats of special interest not included in Annex I of Directive 92/43/EEC are present, in particular: Magnocaricium (Caricetum rostratae, C. elatae) (10%), Phragmition (30%).
