Local reserve
Hygrophilous forest along the course of the Noce River, not far from the village of Croviana, in the municipalities of Croviana and Dimaro Folgarida (Val di Sole).
The reserve is included in the larger Natura 2000 area Ontaneta di Croviana and is one of the protected areas that make up the Alto Noce River Park.
This strip of riparian vegetation consisting mainly of willows, alders and ash trees represents one of the rare examples of wet valley floor woodland in Val di Sole: a natural oasis for many animal and plant species, many of which are protected at European level.

The alder grove can be reached by bicycle and on foot along the Valle di Sole cycle path and the Valle path.
During the summer, the Alto Noce River Park organises weekly activities guided by naturalist experts.
