PNRR for Trentino
As of March 2025, the estimated ceiling of PNRR resources already allocated or in the process of being allocated to Trentino amounted to approximately 1.38 billion euro (for a macro summary of the distribution by interventions and areas, some infographics are available below).
For coordination purposes, the Autonomous Province of Trento set up a Steering Committee and a PNRR task force(Resolution no. 1825 of 29 October 2021), in synergy with the joint group set up by the Consortium of Trentino Municipalities with the provincial structure responsible for local authorities. On 30 December 2022 Provincial Law No. 20 of 29 December 2022 came into force, which in Article 16 provided, among other things, for the establishment of a Strategic Mission Unit to facilitate the performance of coordination and monitoring activities of the PNRR and PNC initiatives. In order to improve the results of provincial participation as much as possible, the Provincial Council has therefore updated the organisational arrangements for the coordination and implementation of the actions provided for by the PNRR and PNC relating to the territory of the Province of Trento(Resolution No. 407 of 10 March 2023). Governance is based on a multi-level model. The political level defines the guidelines, within the framework of provincial planning, and takes care of the dialogue with other institutional actors and representatives of civil society. The technical level oversees the implementation of the PNRR-PNC projects and is in charge of the provincial strategic Departments and Mission Units responsible for the subject matter, under the coordination of the Director General, who, as of 20 March 2023, will make use of the new Strategic Mission Unit Planning, Europe and PNRR.
Among the initiatives to foster comparison and coordination in the implementation of the actions of the PNRR and the National Plan for Complementary Investments was established and updated(Resolutions no. 595 of 8 April 2022 and no. 1737 of 30 September 2022) the Permanent Table of Comparison was set up and updated (resolutions no. 595 of 8 April 2022 and no. 1737 of 30 September 2022). It is composed of representatives of the provincial government, social partners and local authorities, and has advisory functions, to verify the status of implementation of the projects carried out in the provincial territory and to assess their impact, as provided for by Art. 2, paragraph 2 of the law connected to the 2022 provincial budget manoeuvre (Provincial Law no. 21 of 27 December 2021).
In implementation of a measure of the NRP, in order to improve performance in Trentino's public administration in the management of complex procedures (e.g.: construction, environment, procurement) that may also impact on the interventions envisaged by the Plan itself, a task force of 19 experts.

Within the framework of Mission 6 of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan and with the related reform of territorial assistance, the provincial administration, together with the Provincial Health Services Agency, has planned to strengthen the services that can be provided in the territory, thanks to the creation of territorial structures and garrisons (Community Homes, Community Hospitals and Territorial Operations Centres) and the development of telemedicine, home care and innovative organisational forms between health professionals. At the same time, and always within a vision that is also attentive to equity of access and the needs of the territories, the activation of a "polycentric hospital" model has been promoted, in which the centres specialised by pathology are suitably distributed within the network, guaranteeing the complementarity and subsidiarity of the hospital structures.Functional and complementary to this reorganisation is the enhancement and training of health professionals promoted also through the gradual implementation of the Trento School of Medicine.
Mission 7 aims to strengthen distribution and transmission networks, including gas networks, accelerate renewable energy production, reduce energy demand, increase energy efficiency and build skills for the green transition in the public and private sectors, and promote hydrogen and renewable energy value chains through measures facilitating access to credit and tax credits.
