Together against violence against women
The Autonomous Province of Trento recognises that all forms of violence against women constitute a form of discrimination and a violation of fundamental rights.
The Province promotes and coordinates the provincial anti-violence network, established under Provincial Law No. 6 of 2010 and comprising public and private institutions that, in various capacities, provide care and support for women who experience violence.
The network’s work has been consolidated by the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding for the prevention and combating of gender-based violence in the Province of Trento, which aims to monitor and better understand the phenomenon in the Trentino region through data collection, as well as raising awareness and providing training for social workers and professionals within the anti-violence network (law enforcement agencies, healthcare professionals, and third-sector workers).
