List of actors who intend to promote actions in favour of women who suffer violence in the province of Trento.

Description

The 'Together against violence against women' list is established by the Autonomous Province of Trento to promote actions in favour of women who suffer violence. Its members are those who have signed the Protocol of Inter-institutional Agreement for the prevention of and the fight against the phenomenon of gender-based violence in the Province of Trento, dated 22 February 2024, and any renewals, and those who have been entrusted with anti-violence services on the basis of conventions and contracts with the Province.
Other subjects, public or private, who share the aims of the List may also apply for registration.

Who it's for

Public or private entities or companies entered in the companies register, whose legal representative has not been convicted of any final criminal offence and who intend to

  1. promote and coordinate effective awareness-raising, prevention and counteraction actions in the Province of Trento to protect women who have suffered violence and their sons and daughters, through an integrated and shared approach, also considering interventions for men perpetrators of violence
  2. strengthen the services managed by the accredited subjects of the provincial anti-violence network;
  3. promote, in the province of Trento, actions aimed at a comprehensive taking on of women who suffer violence and their sons and daughters, also useful for preventing the risk of secondary victimisation
  4. to support, in the province of Trento, the autonomy of women who have suffered violence, accompanying them in the development and improvement of their life skills
  5. support in the province of Trento the exit of women who have suffered violence from residential care, if there are no high protection needs.

What to do

The application for inclusion in the List may be submitted by interested parties to the provincial structure responsible for the prevention of violence against women, in the following ways

  • as a residual measure, and only in the case of private entities other than companies, delivered by hand, including by using the Province's public information and assistance desks provided for by Article 34 of Provincial Law No 23 of 1992, to the UMSe Prevention of Violence and Crime, at the above address.

Entry on the list is ordered following positive verification by the provincial structure responsible for preventing and combating violence against women, by executive order.

Documents to be submitted

The application shall contain the applicant's identification data and declarations in lieu thereof made pursuant to Articles 46 and 47 of Presidential Decree 445/2000, certifying that the applicant meets the requirements laid down and a declaration of commitment to promote actions aimed at preventing and combating the phenomenon of violence against women in the Province of Trento, and in particular to ensure

  1. the sharing of the object and purpose of the Directory
  2. the implementation, at its own expense, of the activities indicated in the application and in any subsequent requests for integration
  3. participation in provincial awareness and training initiatives;
  4. participation in a monitoring meeting at least every two years, coordinated by the Province.

The following documents are attached to the application

  • description sheet of the activities that the subjects intend to carry out in the field of preventing and combating violence against women; the description must outline the specific activities, the target audience(s) of the activities, the time and place of implementation, any partners involved, the expected costs
  • a copy of the articles of association and memorandum of association of the applicant, where present and not already in the possession of the provincial administration;
  • in the case of applications submitted by public or private entities, an illustrative report on the activity carried out in the previous two years, if already established, showing in particular the entity's ethical commitment, or, in the case of newly established entities, similar instruments referring to the action programme for the following two years
  • in the case of applications submitted by companies, an illustrative report on the activities carried out in the previous two-year period and on the management policy on transparency, prevention of corruption, legality, sustainability of governance and social issues (e.g. code of conduct) or, in the case of newly established companies, the action programme for the following two-year period;
  • information notice pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of EU Regulation no. 679 of 2016 signed for acknowledgement by the legal representative.
