Emergency room ticket
Women experiencing gender-based violence are exempt from the emergency room ticket coded as code white and code green. The exemption is also extended to men who are victims of sexual or domestic violence, if a formal complaint is filed.
Labour policy interventions in favour of women who suffer violence
Targeted support is provided for the job placement of unemployed women who suffer violence and economic support for their employment. To access these interventions it is possible to contact the Employment Centres of the Province of Trento.
Leave for women victims of violence
It consists of the employee's right to abstain from work for reasons related to adherence to a protection programme.
Contribution exemption for the hiring of unemployed women victims of violence
The measure provides for the exemption from the payment of social security contributions, with the exclusion of INAIL premiums and contributions, to the extent of 100% up to a maximum limit of €8,000.00 per year, apportioned and applied on a monthly basis.
Housing policy interventions in favour of women who suffer violence
Women who are victims of violence and are in urgent need of finding a housing solution have the possibility of obtaining housing or economic support to pay the rent. In order to access these interventions, it is possible to contact the social/housing services of the territorially competent local authority.
Support measures for victims of violent intentional crimes
Compensation is provided for crimes of homicide, sexual violence or grievous bodily harm, paid in favour of the victim of such crimes or their beneficiaries.
Support measures for orphans of domestic and gender crimes and foster families
Various measures are foreseen to support orphans of domestic and gender crimes and foster families.
Freedom Microcredit
This is an economic intervention aimed at promoting the social and financial inclusion of women who have suffered violence.
Warning
The warning is an administrative tool adopted by the Questore, which consists in ordering the perpetrator of violent behaviour to refrain from further acts contrary to the law.
Fund 'Violence is not a destiny
The Fund offers financial help to women recovering from violence and to their children.
