   Mineral spring study: Acqua Forte di Vetriolo

   Due to its high acidity and the particularly rich chemism in salts and metals of its waters, the Acqua Forte di Vetriolo spring has been the subject of interest since the early 1970s by many scholars. These particular characteristics in fact make it unique from a therapeutic point of view.

   Hazard Maps

   The Hazard Maps (CaP) take into account hazards related to hydrogeological phenomena, avalanches, floods, seismic phenomena, forest fires, certain hazardous substances, suspended cables or other obstacles to air navigation and unexploded ordnance.
   These are a series of instruments created in implementation of art. 10 of Provincial Law no. 9 of 1 July 2011, "Discipline of civil protection activities in the province of Trento", which identify and classify the hazards present on the territory.
   The structures of the Autonomous Province of Trento competent in the field of hazards and hydrogeological risk contributed to the drafting of the CaP.

    Geological Map of the Autonomous Province of Trento

    The 'Geological Map of the Autonomous Province of Trento' is the first detailed representation of the geological cartography of the entire territory of the Province of Trento. It is derived from the original 1:10,000 scale surveys carried out over several years of geological cartographic activity directed by the Geological Service of PAT, thanks to the collaboration and availability of national bodies such as ISPRA, regional and provincial administrations, museums, university and research institutes and professional geologists.

    Study of the aquifers of the Brenta massif (MIB)

    The Brenta Dolomites, with their extension of 556.8 km2, represent the most extensive hydrostructure in Trentino. Considering the outcropping geological formations, it can be estimated that about 60% of the territory is affected by deep karst circulation: therefore, the karst aquifers of the Brenta Dolomites would be able to provide a total of 12 m3/s of average annual flow.

    Hazard Synthesis Map

    The Hazard Summary Map (CSP) is a normative map and identifies the areas characterised by different degrees of penalty for land use purposes, due to the presence of hydrogeological, avalanche, seismic and forest fire hazards described in the Hazard Maps.
    The CSP is one of the constituent elements of the Provincial Urban Plan PUP (Provincial Law no. 5 of 27 May 2008) and represents the reference tool for urban planning.

    Lidar survey of the territory of the Province of Trento

    LIDAR (Light -or Laser - Detection and Ranging) is an 'active' remote sensing technique that allows topographical surveys to be carried out by means of an aerial vehicle on which a laser scanner is installed that acquires data at very high speed and high resolution. This section provides the laser scanning survey and the creation of digital terrain models (DTM) and surface models (DSM) for the entire territory of the Autonomous Province of Trento (PAT).

    New lives of sport, Friday 26th the meeting at Villa Rosa in Pergine Valsugana

    On Friday, 26 January at 11 a.m., the athletes and staff of Obiettivo3, founded in 2017 by champion Alex Zanardi, will be at the Villa Rosa rehabilitation hospital in Pergine Valsugana to promote Paralympic sports.
    In attendance will be the vice-president and councillor for sport Francesca Gerosa, the councillor for health and social policies Mario Tonina, the general director of Apss Antonio Ferro, the president of the Trentino Alto Adige Italian Paralympic Committee Massimo Bernardoni and the director of the Apss transmural rehabilitation department Jacopo Bonavita. Para-cyclists Michele Grieco and Leonardo Percoco and archer Cristian Seneca will give their testimony of redemption through sport.
    
    The event will be held in the Max gym of the Villa Rosa rehabilitation hospital in via Spolverine 84 in Pergine Valsugana.
