Yesterday, along provincial road 71, on the border between the municipalities of Sover and Valfloriana, the works for the first of the five planned safety works on provincial road 71 were handed over; works carried out in view of the 2026 Olympics. Together with the provincial technicians and representatives of the companies involved in the works, the president of the Autonomous Province of Trento Maurizio Fugatti, the president of the Cembra Valley Community Simone Santuari, the mayor of the municipality of Valfloriana Michele Tonini, with deputy mayor Sergio Genetin, and the mayor of the municipality of Sover Rosalba Sighel, with deputy mayor Elio Bazzanella, were present. Satisfaction for the start of the construction site was expressed by the local administrators.
The importance of the work to be completed on Provincial Road 71 and the related investment was highlighted by President Fugatti: "This," he commented, "is the first of five interventions; the first for which work is starting, another is in the tender phase. Between now and 2025, therefore, these works will begin, giving greater safety to the road system on a stretch of road that is important for Trentino".
