The 2nd edition of the international event Garda Lift on Fire started from the central Piazza III Novembre in Riva del Garda. 250 firemen from 10 countries competed in a technical-competitive course. In the afternoon, the prize-giving ceremony was attended by the president of the Autonomous Province of Trento Maurizio Fugatti, the president of the Alto Garda and Ledro Community Claudio Mimiola, and the mayor of Riva del Garda Cristina Santi. A large representation of the Trentino Volunteer Fire Brigade Corps was present, with the president of the Federation Luigi Maturi and the commander of the Riva del Garda Corps Marco Menegatti.
"A second edition that is giving important results, with the participation of teams coming from outside Trentino and even from abroad: I believe it is a moment to highlight the skills, competences and physical fitness of our Fire Brigade Corps, within an event in which the will to team up is conveyed," commented President Fugatti.
