Research and Innovation
The Trentino research system is a key driver for the growth and development of our region: long-term planning, heavy investment, effective synergy between the provincial government, universities, foundations, companies and local authorities, together with outstanding results are the main aspects.
This integrated system for the development of skills and research is characterised by a high degree of specialisation in various research areas such as artificial intelligence and computational sciences, life sciences, agrifood and the bio-economy, energy and climate change technologies, human and social sciences, enterprise 4.0, robotics, new materials and microsystems.
For its project strategies, Trentino can today count on important bodies, organisations and research centres, national public and private laboratories, innovation poles flanked by technology transfer facilities and business incubators.
