General information

Identifying and implementing actions to improve the use of the European Regional Development Fund and other regional development policy instruments, using co-creative processes with the involvement of stakeholders in seven European countries, to develop, share and exchange good practices focused on open social innovation processes.

The Autonomous Province of Trento has set up participative activities and opportunities to exchange good practices to improve the use of resources of the ERDF Operational Programme 2014-2020in the specific field of the valorisation of public information assets, with a focus on Open Data practices.

The project included two phases:

  • 2016 - 2018: drafting of an Action Plan to influence the policy instrument identified by each partner;
  • 2018 - 2020: monitoring the impact of the Action Plan on regional policies.

The final phase of the project was impacted by the pandemic, which did not stop some in-person activities planned for spring 2020. In order to capitalise on the savings incurred, an extension of the project (October 2021 - March 2023) was approved to detect theimpact of the COVID emergency onopensocial innovation practices in support of regional development policies.

The Autonomous Province of Trento worked on the co-design experience of the platform RipartiTrentinoplatform, the portal that during the pandemic enabled the communication and delivery of contributions to enterprises. The project analysed the results of the user involvement experience in the design of the digital solutions implemented.
