Responsibilities and functions
The Consorzio dei Comuni Trentini manages various service activities in favour of the associated entities, these activities can be traced back on the one hand to all the consulting initiatives that find their place in the technical commissions (also known as desks) and which have now become an indispensable point of reference for the municipalities and associated entities; on the other hand, to training activities in the sectors and subjects of interest to the member entities, to service activities both for the management of municipal employees' salary positions and for initiatives related to the process of digitalisation and innovation of public administration.
Specifically, in view of its statutory purposes and the requirements and interests of its members, the Consortium
- provides members with all forms of assistance, also through services, with particular regard to contractual
- union, organisational, legal, tax, administrative, accounting, economic and technical, as well as training;
- implements initiatives and carries out operations aimed at fostering the optimal organisational structure of the member entities, operating in relations with both public and private entities and institutions, promoting, in particular, appropriate legislative initiatives for their support and development
- represents, defends and safeguards the interests of members, maintaining, for this purpose, appropriate contacts with bodies, institutions, offices and organs of all kinds and degrees
- It stipulates, in the interest of members as well as the directors and employees of the members themselves, agreements, protocols and conventions for the use of services and/or the purchase of goods.
The Consortium also provides support to the Council of Local Self-Government, exercising all the prerogatives, tasks and functions to ensure the Council of Local Self-Government any form of assistance, collaboration and support.
Lastly, the Consortium performs public functions assigned to it by current legislation and, in some cases, carries out specific services under a privative regime.
