Shops that carry out the retail activity of foodstuffs and basic necessities or public business and that, in addition to their main activity, also provide the accessory services envisaged by the relevant regulations (so-called multi-service activities) useful to the local population, in localities otherwise lacking commercial services of the same type, may apply to the Province for the contributions indicated in the following table in Article 7, paragraph 1 of the criteria approved by the Provincial Council Resolution No. 2222 of 23 December 2024

Before starting the multiservice activity, the business is obliged to display the relevant sign outside the local operating unit concerned in order to benefit from the contribution.
Food and basic necessities retail businesses must deal with the minimum assortment required by Art. 1 of the criteria.
Multi-service activities are the following
- services provided in agreement with public bodies;
- free assistance service for telephone or on-line booking of specialist medical examinations for the benefit of applicants;
- free service for printing medical reports and assistance in accessing the 'Three Cs' citizen's medical record for the benefit of applicants;
- free delivery point service for medicines sent in a registered sealed envelope from pharmacies operating in neighbouring centres;
- free centre service for the collection and subsequent dispatch of correspondence in built-up areas without a post office, subject to a special agreement with the postal service provider;
- payment services (car tax, utility bills, etc.);
- free home shopping delivery service in the locality where the local operational unit of the business establishment operates;
- ATM service;
- sale of fresh and/or frozen, preserved, prepared, packaged meat;
- free Internet access service via Wi-Fi network that can be used with user-owned peripherals;
- free over-the-counter parcel pick-up service in the presence of staff;
- telephone top-up service for at least two of the main mobile phone operators;
- sale of daily newspapers and magazines;
- free internet browsing service and access to electronic mail via a PC workstation; free telefax and photocopying service open to the public;
- sale of at least ten references of organic and/or coeliac products;
- sale of at least ten references of Trentino and/or fair trade products;
- bicycle hire service (electric and/or muscle);
- free battery charging service for electric bicycles.
For commercial establishments engaged in food retailing and basic necessities only, the above-mentioned contributions may be increased, in the case of a replacement service (home delivery of groceries in a locality where there are no food and basic necessities retail outlets, other than the locality in which the business outlet is located and at least 2 km away from the outlet) up to a maximum of €1,000.00 (€500.00 per locality served).
The replacement service must be provided in the calendar year preceding the year in which the grant application is submitted for at least 3 full and consecutive months and for at least 3 days a week and documented by means of an appropriate register (see fac simile under Forms).

Multi-service activities carried out without prior display of the sign outside the point of sale will not be facilitated.
