Master Data Management of the Autonomous Province of Trento

The purpose of this activity is to design and implement a single and transversal master data system on the data of the Province and, in perspective, of the other entities of the Trentino institutional ecosystem aimed at overcoming verticalisation in silos and implementing the 'once only' principle. Starting in particular from the citizen, business and economic entities and other fundamental transversal entities of the organisation, the single PAT registry will lay the foundations for the layers of analytics and experimentation of innovative solutions linked to Artificial Intelligence (AI). Such an architecture facilitates the creation of monitoring dashboards to evaluate policies and guide decisions.

Implementation of a centralised single registry of the Autonomous Province of Trento's information systems and dashboards for monitoring key performance indicators

The activities of this project are subdivided into

• analysis and design for the implementation of a single and centralised provincial master data backbone (PFs, enterprises, entities, territorial areas) with a view to MDM starting from local data sources and with subsequent validation and updating of the data through PDND. The updated and unique data will be exposed and/or distributed to the vertical applications of PAT, thus satisfying the once-only principle;
• analysis, design and implementation of data analysis dashboards of PAT and intradomain interest. The master data backbone will be the feeding source of the analysis system, guaranteeing its quality. Data will be processed and displayed according to the data governance identified in order to provide better services to businesses and citizens.
