    Mission 6 - Health

Within the framework of Mission 6 of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan and the correlated reform of territorial assistance, the Provincial Administration, together with the Trentino Integrated University Health Agency, has planned to strengthen the services that can be provided in the territory, thanks to the creation of territorial structures and garrisons (Community Homes, Community Hospitals and Territorial Operating Centres) and the development of telemedicine, home care and innovative organisational forms between health professionals. At the same time, and always within the framework of a vision that is also attentive to equity of access and the needs of the territories, the activation of a polycentric hospital model has been promoted, in which the centres specialised by pathology are suitably distributed within the network, guaranteeing the complementarity and subsidiarity of the hospital structures. Functional and complementary to this reorganisation is the enhancement and training of healthcare professionals promoted also through the implementation of the Trento School of Medicine.
