A formal approval given during the Eusalp assembly, underlined by warm applause: the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano received it this morning in Nice from the members of the Eusalp board, who discussed the strategic lines to be adopted during 2022. The baton passes to our two provinces after the year of French Presidency. In Nice, Mirko Bisesti was present, on behalf of the President of the Autonomous Province of Trento, Maurizio Fugatti, together with the President of the Autonomous Province of Bolzano, Arno Kompatscher, flanked by Councillor Renato Quartarone, national Eusalp coordinator.
Mirko Bisesti addressed the assembly first of all to the young people: "Eusalp must set as a priority the future of those young people who are born in the Alps or who choose the Alps, because the Alps are alive; there is work, there is innovation, there is research, there is enterprise. In the Alps there is quality of life and there are the conditions to write a future of innovation,' he said. "For young people to stay or choose the Alps, they must find a welcoming territory that offers them adequate opportunities for the future: a territory that is at the forefront of digital services and well-connected, that is attractive for job and research prospects, that is attentive to the environment and to the challenges related to climate change."
Identity of the territories, recognition of the value of all Alpine areas in strategic planning and overcoming the digital divide were among the other topics addressed by the councillor in his speech.
