TRENTO ECONOMY FESTIVAL - The opportunities of digital technology, the new rules that Europe is giving itself on the subject, and the construction of a society where the values and rights of European citizens are at the centre of innovation: these were the main topics discussed at tonight's meeting in the Falconetto Room of Palazzo Geremia, in the presence of many young people who were able to put their questions to the speakers as part of the "Policy Dialogues" organised by the European Commission's Representation in Italy. On the panel of the meeting, moderated by Luca De Biase, journalist for Il Sole 24 Ore: Roberto Viola, Director General, Communications Networks, Content and Technology CONNECT - European Commission, Francesca Bria President CDP Venture Capital, Fondo Nazionale Innovazione and Sabrina Pignedoli, Member of the European Parliament.
Also in the audience were Francesco Profumo and Andrea Simoni, respectively President and Secretary General of the Fondazione Bruno Kessler, the Trento centre of excellence conducting research on artificial intelligence - the focus of the evening - and Antonio Parenti, Director of the European Commission Representation in Italy.
