With the giant slalom race on the Pinzolo slopes in the morning and the ski mountaineering competition, in the late afternoon, at night, on the Belvedere slope at Madonna di Campiglio, the 37th Italian Alpine and Nordic Skiing Championships, the eighth Italian Snowboard Championships and the seventh Italian Ski Mountaineering Championships for Fire Brigades are in full swing today. Tomorrow, the cross-country skiing competition in Passo Campo Carlo Magno and the snowboarding competition in Madonna di Campiglio are scheduled. The event was officially opened yesterday with the parade through the streets of Pinzolo, the flag hoisting, the authorities' greetings, and the lighting of the tripod. The opening was attended by Sports and Tourism Councillor Roberto Failoni and Local Government Councillor Mattia Gottardi.
