In the afternoon, the first of the meetings was held in Cavalese for the various actors involved in the territorial network of dual apprenticeship, the special work contract combining school and company training, designed to help young people enter the world of work. In attendance was the provincial councillor for education, university and culture Mirko Bisesti, who pointed out that in Trentino there is a consolidated use of various forms of school-to-work alternation, in paths appreciated by both students and companies, but there are still some obstacles to the spread of dual apprenticeship. "It is an unparalleled opportunity to involve young people in a study and work pathway with a regular, stable and training contract, valuable for both the enterprise and the young person. However, this 'convenience' is not yet perceived, because it is an instrument that is unfortunately still little known and activated,' said Bisesti, recalling that, in order to promote its development, several actions have been implemented in recent years in the Province of Trento, including protocols of understanding with the social partners, as well as promotional initiatives, such as campaigns, calls for tenders and incentives. Despite this commitment on the part of all those involved, only 70 dual apprenticeship contracts were launched this year.
