The Trentino Forestry Corps continues its investigations in Val di Rabbi, at the height of malga Mandriole, where on Sunday morning a hiker - accompanied by his dog - was attacked by a bear. The canine units identified the place where the events occurred, near a blind curve. In the coming days, technical investigations will continue, from which further elements for the reconstruction of the attack may emerge. On the basis of the results of the genetic analysis of the biological material collected, it will be possible to proceed with the radio-collar capture and identification of the bear responsible for the attack. Appropriate assessments will then be carried out, after consulting Ispra. The man sustained injuries in various parts of his body and is in hospital, where he was visited this morning by the provincial forestry councillor Giulia Zanotelli, who expressed the closeness of the provincial administration.
