Cross-border collaboration networks
Cross-border collaboration networks in the Autonomous Province of Trento represent a significant opportunity to promote development, innovation and cultural integration. Through joint projects and initiatives, the Province is able to build strategic relationships with neighbouring regions, tackling challenges together and making the most of local potential.
Below is a list of the organisations within the European network with which the Autonomous Province of Trento collaborates:
Arge Alp
The ARGE ALP Working Community of Alpine Regions was founded on 12 October 1972 in Mösern, Tyrol, with the aim of helping to resolve problems common to various regions of the Alpine arc through good neighbourly relations and mutual cooperation. It currently comprises the following members: the provinces of Vorarlberg, Tyrol and Salzburg (Austria); the Free State of Bavaria (Germany); the Autonomous Province of Trento, the Autonomous Province of Bolzano and the Lombardy Region (Italy); and the cantons of Graubünden, St Gallen and Ticino (Switzerland).
Arge Alp
Arge Alp aims to address, through cross-border cooperation, issues common to the members of the Working Community, particularly in the ecological, cultural, social and economic fields, as well as to promote mutual understanding of the Alpine peoples and to strengthen the sense of common responsibility for the Alpine living space.
Trentino Presidency of Arge Alp from 25 October 2024 to 24 October 2025
From 25 October 2024 to 24 October 2025, the Autonomous Province of Trento was the rotating President of ARGE ALP, the Working Community of the Alpine Regions.

Euregio
Two countries, three regions, one Euregio: situated in the heart of Europe, our Euregio brings together the three regions of Tyrol, South Tyrol and Trentino, which share a common history as well as many other geographical, economic and cultural characteristics. The aim is to forge strong bonds, to live together in diversity, and to prioritise cohesion by transcending national borders.
Euregio
The Euregio Tyrol-South Tyrol-Trentino is a joint cross-border cooperation project consisting of the two autonomous provinces of Trento and Bolzano and the Austrian federal state of Tyrol.
