This is a grant to support one-year projects aimed at:
a) improving access, encouraging participation by all members of the public and increasing the number of people – including those with physical, intellectual and sensory disabilities – who take part in physical activity, sport and play;
b) encourage healthy lifestyles aimed at achieving or maintaining a good state of health and preventing the onset of conditions linked to unhealthy or harmful behaviours;
c) to foster social relations and cohesion, using sport as a tool for personal development and restoring the educational role of physical activity;
d) to encourage, including through the involvement of Olympic ambassadors, the learning, practising and promotion of Olympic values (fair play, participation, friendship, loyalty, solidarity, commitment, respect, courage, self-improvement, peace, equality, internationalism) and/or Paralympic values (courage, determination, inspiration, equality).
The following types of expenditure relating to the implementation of the activity, for which supporting documents were issued after the date of submission of the grant application, are eligible:
a) the purchase of support materials and promotional and outreach services;
b) reimbursements and remuneration for the following sports professionals: instructors, coaches, technical directors, sporting directors and fitness trainers;
c) reimbursements and remuneration for sports coaches registered with professional bodies;
d) reimbursements to sports volunteers;
e) hire of sports equipment, materials, vehicles and apparatus, including for participants with disabilities;
f) the hire and/or fitting out of sports and/or community facilities, including those equipped for participants with disabilities;
g) remuneration and reimbursements to lecturers and speakers;
h) fees and reimbursements to speakers and ambassadors for Olympic or Paralympic sport;
i) reimbursement of the difference in the registration fee where a 50 per cent reduction is provided for participants with disabilities and health vulnerabilities, young people under 18, and older people over 65;
j) transport for participants;
k) insurance cover for participants, provided that a policy specifically dedicated to the project is in place;
l) ambulance and public safety services;
m) refreshments for participants and support staff involved in the initiative;
n) general organisational costs and/or minor purchases necessary for the implementation of the activity, up to a limit of 20 per cent of the total of the preceding items.
The grant is awarded at a rate of 80 per cent of eligible expenditure and, in any event, subject to a maximum limit of 40,000 euros per initiative.
Subject to the maximum limit, the grant may be increased to 90 per cent of eligible expenditure for projects specifically aimed at people with disabilities or vulnerabilities and/or gender equality and/or social cohesion and/or the learning and implementation of Olympic and Paralympic values.
The grant is provided for under Article 21(1)(a) of Provincial Law No. 4 of 21 April 2016, ‘Provincial Law on Sport 2016’.
Each applicant may submit only one project per year.
The overall score achieved by each individual initiative determines its position on the ranking list.
Applications scoring less than 18 out of 47 are not eligible for funding.

| Invoices relating to the purchase of goods and services eligible for public incentives for productive activities, granted for any reason and in any form by a public authority, including through other public or private entities, or in any way attributable to them, must contain the unique project code (CUP), as set out in the grant agreement or communicated at the time the incentive is awarded or at the time of application for the same. This requirement is introduced by Article 5(6) of Decree-Law No. 13 of 24 February 2023, – converted by Law No. 41 of 21 April 2023 and amended by Law No. 213 of 30 December 2023. The operational guidelines concerning the use of the CUP are set out in Annex A toProvincial Council Resolution No. 728 of 23 May 2024. If the CUP has not been included in the electronic invoice or has been incorrectly stated by the supplier/service provider and the latter has not reissued it correctly (= a credit note cancelling the invoice and the issue of a new invoice), the recipient/client may add the CUP to the invoice using the web service available on the “Fatture e Corrispettivi” portal, under the “Electronic Invoices and Other VAT Data” section, in the “Communications” box, “CUP Integration” link on the Italian Revenue Agency’s website. | CATASTROPHIC EVENTS POLICY |
From 1 April 2026, access to public grants and subsidies by beneficiaries registered in the Companies Register who own, manage or use land, buildings, plant, machinery, and industrial and commercial equipment as referred to in Article 2424, first paragraph, Assets section, item B-II, numbers 1), 2) and 3) of the Civil Code,used in the course of business, is subject to the taking out of an insurance policy covering damage caused to such assets by natural disasters and catastrophic events. The policy must be in force at the time the grant is awarded and must remain in force for the entire duration of the initiatives. In the event of failure to comply with the insurance obligation – implemented at provincial level by Provincial Executive Resolution No. 2114 of 19 December 2025 – the grant will be refused.
