Athletes and sports organisations
Trentino promotes the widespread participation in sport and the right to physical activity as factors contributing to growth, mental and physical wellbeing, improved lifestyles and the health of its citizens, the development of social relations, equal opportunities and economic sectors. The Province awards grants to promote and support youth sport and sports associations, as well as to facilitate access to sport, its wider uptake and, more generally, everyone’s right to physical activity.

Euregio Sports Camp
Every year in July, a week of sport and adventure in a residential setting for 60 young athletes aged between 12 and 14, with an equal number from South Tyrol, Tyrol and Trentino.
