Gender Equality
The elimination of all obstacles to the realisation of equality between women and men with respect to their rights, treatment, responsibilities, economic, professional and social opportunities is a priority at international, European and national level and is enshrined in the documents referred to in the introduction to the 'Plan for Gender Equality '.
The Province shares this urgency and intends to make a concrete commitment to ensure the conditions for the pursuit of gender equality both within and outside the Administration.

Il Piano per l’uguaglianza di genere (Gender equality plan/GEP) 2023 -2025 è un insieme di azioni che mirano a eliminare il divario di genere attraverso il perseguimento dell’uguaglianza e la valorizzazione delle differenze fra i generi all’interno della Provincia autonoma di Trento.
Together against violence against women
The Autonomous Province of Trento recognises that any kind of violence against women is a form of discrimination and a violation of fundamental rights.
The Province promotes and coordinates the provincial anti-violence network, created under the impetus of provincial law no. 6 of 2010 and composed of public and private institutions that, in various capacities, operate in taking charge of and supporting women who suffer violence.
The network's intervention is consolidated by the signing of the Protocol of Agreement for the prevention and fight against the phenomenon of gender-based violence in the province of Trento, which aims to monitor and better understand the phenomenon in the Trentino territory through the collection of data, as well as to raise awareness and train social professionals and operators of the anti-violence network (police, health workers, third sector operators).

Single Guarantee Committee
The Single Committee of Guarantee (CUG) of the Autonomous Province of Trento promotes equality and equal opportunities between men and women and the absence of any form of discrimination on the grounds of gender, age, sexual orientation, ethnic origin, disability, religion or language, in access and working conditions.
