The application represents the telematic access point to the online services of public administrations, activated at the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, which allows the use of online services through smartphones.
The project carried out the migration and activation, on the IO App, of digital and non-digital services provided by the Autonomous Province of Trento, in particular
- Incentives for electric mobility;
 - Registration in the Technical College (CCT) lists;
 - Public Private Partnership (PPP) proposal;
 - Communication of fuel disbursed on construction sites;
 - Hairdresser qualification;
 - Beautician qualification;
 - Admission to civil service;
 - Mines;
 - Euregio Family Pass;
 - Scholarships for sporting and scholastic merit;
 - Technical tender commissions;
 - State Property Office;
 - Tourist presences;
 - Fuel communication;
 - Building superelevation works;
 - Land registry visas;
 - Single territorial authorisation;
 - Environmental impact assessment;
 - Volunteer and association reimbursements;
 - Private accommodation for tourist use.
 
The project was submitted in response to thePNRR Public Notice 1.4.3 "Adoption App IO" - Other Entities (May 2022).
PNRR Measure 1.4.3 aims to achieve the following European targets.
Target M1C1-127 (December 2023) - Ensure an increase in the number of services integrated in the 'IO' application for:
- public administrations already using the 'IO' application (2,700 entities)
 - new public administrations joining the application (4,300 new entities)
 
Target M1C1-150 (June 2026) - Ensuring an increase in the number of services integrated in the "IO" application for
- public administrations already using the 'IO' application (7,000 entities)
 - new public administrations joining the application (7,100 new entities).
 
Thefinal objective is to have an average of:
- 20 services for the Regions and Autonomous Provinces;
 - 20 services for Local Health Authorities and Hospital Authorities;
 - 15 services for universities, research organisations and AFAMs.
 
Goals
To provide organisations and citizens with a single channel from which to use all digital public services, as a pillar of the Italian Government's strategy for digital citizenship. The vision behind IO is to put the citizen at the centre of the interaction with the Public Administration, through asimple and intuitive application available directly on one's smartphone.
