The Autonomous Province of Trento also paid its last respects to Pope Francis, testifying its closeness to one of the most beloved pontiffs through the Councillor for Urban Planning and Transport. On this historic day, full of meaning for millions of believers around the world, the councillor, on behalf of the Provincial Council of Trento, conveyed a message of emotion and affection to the deceased pope, recalling his charisma and his tireless commitment to the great themes of our present day, from peace to the environment, to the protection of the last of the poor. Lastly, the provincial councillor addressed a thought of gratitude on behalf of the provincial executive to the many volunteers of the civil protection system who in recent days have contributed to the not easy management of the exceptional influx of faithful who have flocked to Rome for the pontiff's funeral.
