Internal selection process, based on qualifications and examinations, for 8 posts at the rank of Forest Ranger

• have held the rank of forest ranger (formerly forest assistant) for at least five years as at 31 December 2024

or

• classification in the rank of senior forest ranger (formerly senior forest assistant) or senior forest ranger with special qualification (formerly senior forest assistant with further lateral progression), regardless of whether the five-year service requirement is met by 31 December 2024
• be in service on the date the appointment takes effect
• not having received, in the two years prior to the deadline for submitting the application to participate in the selection process, a disciplinary sanction more severe than a written reprimand
• have received a positive performance appraisal in the five-year period preceding the effective date of the appointment (2020–2024)
