The Provincial Council met this morning in the council chamber of Folgaria's Town Hall, continuing on its path to reaffirm the executive's closeness and dialogue with Trentino's territories and communities. The mayor of Folgaria Michael Rech, the mayor of Lavarone Claudio Stenghele and the president of the Comunità degli Altipiani Cimbri Isacco Corradi welcomed the president Maurizio Fugatti and the councillors along with representatives of the police and territorial bodies - Carabinieri, Forest Rangers, Fire Brigade, Alpine Rescue and Red Cross - as well as numerous local associations. "Holding council meetings in the territory," explained President Fugatti, "is an administrative and human growth because it gives us the opportunity to get to know living communities like Folgaria. By dialoguing with the administration led by Mayor Rech, we can get a more detailed picture of the issues and topics concerning the territory'. President Fugatti recalled the initiatives launched on the entire plateau concerning the aqueduct, the Francolini cableway link, the infrastructure investments committing the council for over 26 million euro - including the awarding of the Menador road and the project to make the SS350 road from Calliano to Folgaria safe - the projects concerning Base Tuono and the pedestrian crossings in the towns.
