Description
TETRA (TErrestrial Trunked RAdio) represents the reference standard for professional digital radio communications within the Autonomous Province of Trento. This technology was designed specifically for the needs of public administrations and emergency services, constituting the backbone for the coordination of the Trentino Civil Protection operating in the territory. The infrastructure is based on state-of-the-art network equipment and transceiver systems positioned in strategic high-altitude sites, designed to guarantee optimal and resilient coverage even in the most orographically complex mountain areas.
TETRA digital radio transmitters are deployed by institutional users, guaranteeing superior safety standards and signal quality. All users are included, for the purposes of entitlement to use the network and its terminals, in the operational context of the Civil Protection of the Autonomous Province of Trento. This integration allows unified and synergic management of communications between the various components of the provincial rescue system, ensuring maximum effectiveness during monitoring and emergency management activities.
This section provides quick guides for the use of the radioterminals currently in supply and for the Copernico platform, as well as references for requesting technical assistance. Further information on currently active purchasing agreements for upgrading the technological equipment is also available.
