   The 'out-of-town' meetings of the Provincial Council, which met today at the Municipal Casino in Arco, continue. Welcoming president Maurizio Fugatti and the other provincial councillors were mayor Alessandro Betta with deputy mayor Roberto Zampiccoli and the other councillors of the municipality, as well as all the community representatives, from the Alpini to the Red Cross, from the Nuvola to the Fire Brigade, from the Forestry Corps to the Carabinieri, up to the referents of the educational institutions, including the headmistress of the Istituto comprensivo di Arco, Claudia Terranova, and the director of the Alto Garda Music School, Carlo Pedrazzoli, as well as the president of the municipal company Amsa, Renato Veronesi.

   Coronavirus, from the bulletin of Friday 14 October 2022

   Coronavirus: today's report from the Provincial Health Services Agency reports one death. He is a man over seventy years old, vaccinated and suffering from other diseases. There are 638 new cases. Of these, 7 were detected at the molecular level (out of 54 tests carried out) and 631 at the antigenic level (out of 2866 tests carried out). The molecular then confirmed 2 positives intercepted in recent days by rapid tests. The number of hospitalised patients is 96, 2 of whom are in intensive care. Yesterday there were 18 new admissions and 13 discharges.

    Disasters in Marmolada and Alta Val di Fassa, half a million euro for businesses

    Last summer was marred by two separate serious events that affected the Fassa Valley. The collapse of a major portion of the Marmolada glacier on 3 July caused 11 casualties and economic damage, particularly to refuges, following the ban on access to the red zone established by the municipality of Canazei. On the other hand, the cloudburst that hit the Alta Val di Fassa on 5 August caused several damages in the municipalities of San Giovanni di Fassa-Sèn Jan, Campitello di Fassa and Mazzin. The criteria for the granting of contributions and compensation to companies affected by the two calamities were approved this morning by the Provincial Council, on the proposal of the president, Maurizio Fugatti. "The administration is close to all those affected by these events. Guaranteeing support for the restart of economic activities and self-employment that have suffered damage due to the disasters is a due act for us, especially in a period of great economic difficulty such as the current one," are the president's words. Applications for provincial aid will be submitted from 2 November 2022 to 2 January 2023. The 'fund to support the resumption of economic activities and normal living conditions following disasters' has a total value of half a million euros.
