In order to face the profound changes taking place and to provide answers to the increasingly complex needs of citizens and enterprises, the public administration must acquire new skills in the managerial field, in a continuous process of training and updating. This was the starting point for the Euregio Master in European Public Administration, which saw the participation of 36 officials, 12 from each territory, from the Land Tirol and the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano. The project lasted two years and ended a few days ago with a ceremony held at the Laimburg Winery in Ora.
The Secretary General of the Euregio, Marilena Defrancesco, emphasised that the master's degree project was very significant, because beyond the very important aspect of training, it made it possible to initiate a dialogue between the three administrations, creating positive synergies for the future of the Euregio.
'The initiative was very important,' emphasised the Director General of the Autonomous Province of Trento, Paolo Nicoletti, 'and we must thank in particular those who participated, with commitment and sacrifice, in order to grow and improve. Public institutions,' Nicoletti added, 'are the engine of development for any territory and they are particularly so for our territories, which are linked by many affinities and need people who are prepared for the challenges ahead, including the current one of the NRP'.
