Description
The project promotes mutual acquaintance between young people, born and living abroad, of Trentino origin and their peers living in Trentino.
The exchange is structured in two phases:
First phase in Trentino
15 young people from Trentino living abroad are hosted by 15 young people from Trentino living in Trentino for 2 weeks (from 19 July to 3 August 2025)
How the stay in Trentino takes place
Family" activities to discover and immerse themselves in the real and genuine dimension of ordinary "daily life": excursions in Trentino and in the host's place of origin, sports, moments of family life - e.g. shopping, visiting friends and relatives...
Group" activities for young people arriving from abroad, organised by the Emigration Office, to discover Trentino: cultural and tourist guided tours, meetings with the academic and economic world, local associations and institutions.
Second phase in the countries of residence of the oriundi partners
During 2026 the 15 young oriundi host the 15 Trentino partners in their countries of residence for 2 weeks (the period is agreed between the partners)
How the stay abroad takes place
Cultural visits to get to know the local naturalistic, institutional and associative realities, moments of daily life, to directly experience a foreign reality through the experience of the Trentino oriundi family
Contribution:
Reimbursement of travel expenses and health insurance (sickness and accidents):
Maximum amount:
- euro 990.00 for those travelling to/from non-European countries;
- euro 450.00 for those travelling to/from European countries.
Board and lodging: on the basis of the reciprocity formula they are guaranteed by the families of the respective participating partners.
