Today the traditional Friday meeting of the Provincial Council was held in Massimeno, the smallest municipality in Trentino, 138 inhabitants as of today. Welcoming president Maurizio Fugatti and the provincial councillors was the entire community, led by mayor Norman Masé: parish priest Don Flavio, representatives of the Pro Loco and the police force, forest wardens, the fire brigade, volunteers from the Pinzolo - Alto Rendena Infirmary Transport Service Association, and also other administrators from the neighbouring municipalities of Giustino, Pinzolo and Carisolo. "Thank you for your closeness,' were the first citizen's words in addressing the provincial executive, 'and for the sensitivity you also show towards smaller municipalities and rural realities like ours. President Fugatti then expressed words of appreciation for the welcome, which demonstrates 'the liveliness and vitality of the local community', reiterating how the provincial government's presence in the area enables 'a deeper knowledge of the territories and their problems and needs'.
