The president of the Autonomous Province of Trento, Maurizio Fugatti, and the councillor for agriculture, Giulia Zanotelli, have signed Coldiretti's signature collection, which aims to promote a law banning the production, use and marketing of synthetic food in Italy. "The products of our tradition are part of the cultural heritage of the territory, they are a guarantee of healthiness and promote the enhancement of agricultural contexts also in terms of tourism," were the words of councillor Zanotelli. According to the council members, it is unthinkable that Made in Trentino should be put at risk: 'The administration's commitment to supporting the various sectors of our agriculture therefore continues. In a complex phase like the current one, we continue to bet on technological innovation and research'. Councillor Zanotelli therefore highlights the need to 'increasingly educate and inform our community, starting with the younger generations, on what it means to consume local products: preserving agriculture in our valleys and guaranteeing the continuity of our companies, buying quality and safe products, defending what we are and our history'.
