The aim of the investment - at a national level - is to reduce the share of the population currently at risk of digital exclusion, by creating 3,000 facilitation points to increase the digital skills and inclusion of 2 million citizens. In Trentino, the project - which envisages the activation of at least 22 digital facilitation points throughout the territory (peripheral provincial public information desks, municipalities, libraries) and the reaching of about 17.000 citizens - is aimed at increasing widespread digital skills in order to foster the autonomous, conscious and responsible use of new technologies, to promote the full enjoyment of the rights of active digital citizenship by all, and to encourage the use of online services by private individuals and public administrations, simplifying the relationship between citizens and the public administration. The services provided at the presidia (and in particular the digital facilitation activity) will be made available for at least 20 hours a week, in order to ensure equity of access. In order to ensure maximum operational flexibility, however, the use of remote forms of interaction with users and itinerant facilitation modes is favoured. The 'facilitators', whether public employees (for the majority, also in order to provide continuity of the service after 2026) or external subjects, will be the recipients of a specific training course managed by the Department for Digital Transformation. The resources made available by the PNRR measure amount to just under EUR 1 million.
